Cathedral Quarter Trust are running a summer school relating to the CQ area with its urban development opportunities and issues.

The week-long workshop will engage architecture students and graduates working with the board to bring forward a holistic vision for the area and this city. The group work will be led by board member and architect Mark Hackett with input from a diverse range of professionals and stakeholders, bringing expertise to the subgroup themes.

• Housing design and living in the city.

• Low embodied Carbon futures.

• Listed buildings and reuse of existing buildings.

• Courtyards and landscape.

• History, research, policy positions.

• Model making and visioning images.

A Studio Space will be located in the Quarter and we invite in interested parties to engage and observe - on the Wednesday 31st 5.30pm evening there will be a public and discursive review of the work and themes.

VENUE: Redeemer Central - first floor 101 Donegall Street.

The project will launch on the Friday 2nd Aug at a public celebration event from 4pm.

We will print a booklet for wide public viewing, contributors will be credited.
